Questions
How often should I see a dentist?
Most adults benefit from a check-up every six to twelve months. Some patients with healthy mouths and good home care can stretch to once a year; others may need to come more often. We recommend a schedule based on what we see at your first visit, not on a generic timetable.
How much does a check-up cost at Cambridge Dental?
A standard adult check-up at Cambridge Dental starts from a fixed fee. Final costs depend on whether X-rays are needed and any additional care you choose. We will always provide cost estimates before treatment begins.
Do you see nervous patients?
Yes. Many of our patients describe themselves as nervous, anxious, or overdue. Our whole approach is built around making the chair feel calm: short first visits, clear explanations, and never pushing forward at a pace you are not comfortable with.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept EFTPOS, credit card, and Afterpay. SuperGold Card holders receive 10% off most treatments. We work with ACC for accident-related dental treatment, and we can prepare cost estimates for Work and Income Special Needs Grants.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Cambridge Dental welcomes children of all ages. First visits for little ones are short, calm, and focused on helping them feel comfortable in the chair.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. Cambridge Dental welcomes new patients of all ages. You can book online or call 07 823 1210 if you would like to talk through what you need first.
